During the weekdays, resort to some fresh vegetables and fruits. There are saturated fats in the crust and you definitely don’t want to put on a considerable amount of weight (especially when you don’t have any time to get rid of it).
3. Fried Food
You never know what kind of oil is used by the dining hall staff, therefore, it is better to keep your hands as far away from all the fried food as much possible. Sometimes, getting a few bites is fine but you cannot always be going with those fried potatoes or fried chicken. It is better to incorporate sandwiches in your meal instead especially those which have fresh vegetables and grilled meat in them.

Dessert is heavenly but not all the time. If you cannot resist sugary stuff then it is advisable not to go with ice creams too frequently. To satisfy your sweet tooth, you can either go with yogurt, small cookie or a small brownie. Fresh fruits like banana and strawberries can also fulfill your heart’s dessert desire.
5. Hot Dogs
Yes, they are very tasty and are the quickest and cheapest snack at a sporting event. You need to make sure not to increase their consumption in your diet because they contain numerous additives. They are also considered one of cancer causing foods. It is okay if you can suppress your urge for having a hot dog to once a week or even a month – or opt for alternatives like turkey dogs or vegetarian hot dogs (which taste better than you’d think!).
6. Creamy Soups
In the wintertime, a thick soup may warm you up. However, be wary of a broth based or cream based soup. Avoid fatty soups that are quick to eat and pack tons of calories. Look out for lots of cheese too. It’s best to take a small cup and pair with a salad.
Your dining hall is full of some of the most amazing foods but for your own good, you need to get a grip on your food desires and go for foods which are natural, healthy, and energizing at the same time.
